The show was cancelled after 13 episodes, meaning the 13th ghost was never actually caught on screen. Fans waited 34 years for the 2019 direct-to-DVD movie 'Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost' to finally resolve it.
This series introduced Vincent Van Ghoul, voiced by horror legend Vincent Price, essentially teaching a generation of kids that horror icons could be silly too.
