And that's not all, these rockers are suddenly whisked away on an impromptu galactic tour to save Opal and the people of Mythrandir as their new champions - the Stone Protectors!

Stone Protectors was a failed attempt to launch a toy line that nobody bought, making it a fossil of 90s multimedia synergy gone wrong. The band's 'hit song' was performed by actual musicians who presumably needed the money.
Voice actor Scott McNeil would later redeem himself as Dinobot in Beast Wars, proving that even the most cursed projects can launch legitimate talent. The show was cancelled before airing all 13 episodes in most markets.
