Standout Aspects

Acting

Lee Tae-ran's silent suffering could start wars.

Writing

169 episodes and they STICK the landing? Respect.

Production

Peak early-2000s melodrama aesthetics, unapologetically glossy.

Best for:Binge: Commit to the suffering. Clear your calendar for weeks.·Solo: Nobody needs to witness you screaming at Sang-min.·Rewatch: Veterans only. You know which episodes to skip.
Heads up:Emotional: Prolonged emotional torture. Ja-yeong cannot catch ONE break.·Triggers: Custody battles, abandonment, classism weaponized against mothers.
