Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Perry Lakes Stadium, featured prominently, was demolished in 2014; Sweat is now accidental archival footage of a vanished Commonwealth Games venue.
Network Ten buried Sweat in a Saturday afternoon slot and cancelled it after one season, making Ledger's 26-episode tenure both his television beginning and end.
