Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Skyland was one of the most expensive animated series ever produced in France at the time, with a budget that hemorrhaged money through its ambitious motion-capture fight scenes.
The show bombed in France but became a cult hit in Canada and parts of Europe, proving that early 2000s kids would watch literally anything with spaceships and glowing eyes.
