Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

That 2008 The Bill crossover made history as the first Anglo-German police drama collaboration — they literally built a fake Leipzig set in London and vice versa.

Cultural

SOKO Leipzig outlasted actual East German police structures it originally depicted, becoming accidental historical archive of post-reunification Saxony.
