Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Thai dramas rarely center autistic protagonists with this nuance; Sun's special interest in suicide methods mirrors how autistic special interests are often pathologized rather than understood as coping mechanisms.
Director Wirada Khuhavanta cast Jennis Oprasert (Yaimai) against her idol-group image from BNK48, deliberately subverting Thailand's 'good girl' entertainment culture with a sexually autonomous female lead.
