LatestPeggy and Hank's friends start a pig eradication business, but Hank is hesitant to join them. Bobby and Connie struggle to bond as adults.
Set in Texas, this animated series follows the life of propane salesman Hank Hill, who lives with his overly confident substitute Spanish teacher wife Peggy, wannabe comedian son Bobby, and naive niece Luanne. Hank has conservative views about God, family, and country, but his values and ethics are often challenged by the situations he, his family, and his beer-drinking neighbors/buddies find themselves in.
Writing
Mike Judge's ear for mundane absurdity is unmatched in animation.
Acting
Stephen Root makes Bill Dauterive the saddest funny man on TV.
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
King of the Hill predicted the suburban/rural political divide years before it dominated headlines, treating conservative characters with rare humanizing complexity.
Mike Judge based Hank on guys he met while living in Texas; Boomhauer's mumbling was improvised gibberish that somehow stayed in the final cut for 13 years.
