Regarding the stellantis / vauxhall factory they dont need a grid connection for a solar array that could provide 35% of their needs if they have no plan to or the excess capacity in the array to sell energy to the grid. so crack on and fit it.

Cheapest form of electricity. My backside ! The savings are there but they arent being passed to domestic customers
