Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

The motorhome was a real 1980s Fiat Ducato that Peter Kay personally sourced and insisted on keeping authentic, complete with original 1980s fittings.

Cultural

The series captures a specific post-Phoenix Nights moment where Kay could do no wrong — it remains divisive among fans, with some considering it superior to the original.
