Season 1 • Episode 12
LatestIn the final episode, two Beta teams compete to make it into the second round where they'll compete with the Alphas. Joined by special judges Chin Chinawut, Gam the Star, Maiyarap and Ae Botcash, the eight finalists are scored individually by votes from the judges and viewers. The top four ascend to the Alpha seats. However, once a king's thrown is introduced, one seat is left free.
Twenty-seven trainees compete for coveted idol positions on GMMTV's roster of artists. Among the competitors, four Alphas are selected and grouped together. The remaining competitors are split into Beta groups. Each week, the groups fight either to keep their positions as Alpha or to break out of the Beta role and to stay in the competition altogether.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Project Alpha arrived as GMMTV's answer to Produce 101's dominance, but with T-pop's distinct blend of Thai cultural references and K-pop training rigor. The show's 'Alpha/Beta' hierarchy explicitly mirrors Thailand's intense educational tracking system.
