LatestTiago, a young man addicted to video games and AI technology, receives an unexpected video call from Duarte, a friend he hasn't seen in a while. They agree to meet at Duarte's house to play a new version of the game ‘Dark Room 2’. Tiago, unaware that the video call was a deepfake, accepts the invitation and naively falls into a trap set by a mother obsessed with her son's death.
INEVITÁVEL is a fiction/drama series that explores the complexities and consequences of AI technological advances for society. Each episode is a standalone story with a unique plot and characters, but they all share the series' overall theme and its impact. The episodes reflect contemporary anxieties about technological advances in AI and show how these advances can distort reality, morality and human identity.
