Standout Aspects

Writing

Mitsuru Adachi's masterpiece — dialogue that stings with what's unsaid.

Direction

Episode 1's time jump will wreck you immediately.

Acting

Miyu Irino's deadpan delivery hides oceans of feeling.

Best for:Solo: Late nights when you want to cry into your pillow.·Binge: Commit to the 50-episode journey — no half-measures.·Rewatch: Second viewing hits different once you know the weight of everything.
Heads up:Emotional: Major character death in early episodes — grief is central to the story.·Triggers: Parental loss and complicated sibling dynamics throughout.
