So yeah, coming from someone who has watched the series, I'll add my voice to say this is absolutely the best sci fi series I have ever seen and it puts all the others to shame. Complex characters, deep and evolving plot, believable factions and real tension for the action scenes. As a lifelong science fiction fan, this is an instant cult classic that I'll certainly be coming back to show my kids (when they're old enough). This is not your grandpa's sci fi, the sex scene you catch here is more like a little seasoning for what amounts to an incredible delight. Not even 15 seconds of sex over 40+ hours and it doesn't feel forced or excessive. If you have read this far, do yourself a favour and just try the series out. If you can find your not even a little interested by the end of the first season then I can only say we must have different ideas of what makes good sci fi or maybe you just aren't into it. Respectable, but it would be a real shame to miss it while we now await the release of season 6 on amazon prime video. Its one hell of a ride. Don't miss out on this.

Having only come across "The Expanse" a few months ago - and ended up binge-watching the entire 6 seasons in 3 weeks - this trailer doesn't do it any justice. It - is - absolutely - phenomenal.
