Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The Kimberley Circuit Court is real — judges literally fly to remote communities. The show consulted extensively with local Aboriginal legal services to avoid the 'white saviour' trap.
Aaron Pedersen fought for years to get this made after starring in the 2002 telemovie of the same name. SBS's biggest drama investment at the time.
