Writing
Kazuki Kaneshiro's GO-level character psychology in cop procedural form

Junichi Okada's restrained physicality — every blink is calculated

Katsuyuki Motohiro's surveillance-state aesthetics, gloriously claustrophobic
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The actual Security Police unit requested script approval and provided tactical consultants, making this one of the few Japanese dramas with official government cooperation for accuracy.
Kazuki Kaneshiro deliberately wrote Inoue as a Zainichi Korean (implied, never stated) to mirror his own background — the 'outsider with hyper-developed survival instincts' as metaphor for minority experience in Japan.
