Production
Period-perfect 1950s aesthetics that make you smell the salt and vinyl.
Acting
Andreas Jessen carries chaotic idealism like a worn leather jacket.
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Radio Mercur actually existed and fundamentally changed European broadcasting law, directly inspiring Britain's famous pirate radio boom of the 1960s.
The real Cheeta was a converted WWII minesweeper, not the glamorous vessel depicted — artistic license for that retro-cool factor.
