Lerman specifically chose the house's location in Belgrano to span Argentina's most politically turbulent century, from immigrant arrival to dictatorship to modern inequality.
Each episode was shot by a different cinematographer; Episode 6's single-take funeral scene required the crew to literally rebuild walls around the camera.
