Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The 'Forest Brothers' were actual anti-Soviet partisans whose story was suppressed until 1991; this series helped Latvians reclaim this erased history.
MI6 genuinely ran Operation Jungle to infiltrate agents into the Baltics via boats from 1949-1955; most were captured immediately due to Soviet double agents.
