Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Shadows arrived during a golden age of British children's horror, alongside The Tomorrow People and Children of the Stones, when regulators apparently trusted kids with genuine terror.
Mr. Stabs—played by Russell Hunter—became so beloved that Thames brought him back for two separate sequels, making him perhaps the only children's anthology villain with actual franchise power.
