Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
'O pere e 'o musso is real Neapolitan street food—boiled pig face—turned here into something far more sinister. The film weaponizes authentic working-class cuisine against itself.
Director Giordano shot during actual Vesuvius seismic activity in 2023; the smoke isn't always VFX. The mountain's unrest becomes literal character motivation.
