Reactions from the web

- A Masterpiece. Brilliant example of a coherent, well acted and difficult to handle-themed rare jewel. Yet Mr. Jourdan was the "spirit" of this - in some respect a perfect - Film. - Some of these "Technicolor" film-era colors are even better than in digitally filmed, supporting the creation of the atmosphere depending on the directors capabilities. -

This was a great movie. Scared the hell out of me when I was a kid

Outstanding film! I'm very happy I played a minor role in getting this film finally released on film! Gary Gerani made it happen by convincing Kino-Lorber to put it out restored at 2k!
