This is technically Gamma One Quadrilogy film #2, though you'd never know it from the standalone chaos. Margheriti shot four sci-fi films back-to-back using the same sets and increasingly exhausted cast.
The 'deadly female robot' trope here is pure 1960s male anxiety about women's liberation—literally creating artificial women who obey, then fearing they'll turn destructive. Subtle!
