The 'VUP' hotel ratings system was invented for the film—there's no actual Five Diamond award category for hotels.
This is the only Ocean's film where Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones don't appear, allegedly because Soderbergh wanted it to be 'a bachelor party heist.' The 2007 release also made it the last major Hollywood film to premiere simultaneously in theaters and on DVD, killing that distribution experiment.
