Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was the final time Don Adams voiced Gadget in any capacity; Maurice LaMarche took over here after Adams retired. LaMarche had already been impersonating Adams' voice for years on Pinky and the Brain.
Released during the dying gasp of direct-to-video franchise sequels, this film represents that weird 2002 era when studios would animate ANYTHING if it had brand recognition. The 'superhero disguise' plot was clearly riding the X-Men movie hype wave.
