Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
MRKH affects roughly 1 in 5,000 women; McGlynn developed it from interviews with actual patients to avoid exploitation.
The 'vaginal dilator' scenes used practical props designed with medical consultants—Ziegler kept one as a conversation piece.

This movie is not my cup of tea but I'm still happy to see Maddie Ziegler being productive in her acting career 🙂😊👍🏾💯

It's far from the greatest movie ever made but I take my hat off to whoever wrote the screenplay as it specifically tackles an issue most people probably aren't aware of to begin with. I was happy with the way Lindy (Maddie Ziegler) was able to find self acceptance before the film finished which I thought was important personally.
