Prap openly expresses his interest in Wanmai. Pat, Prap's wife and Wanmai's relative, is aware of Prap's interest and engages in a fight which leads to domestic violence. Pat comes to seek shelter at Nat and Wanmai's house and starts to sow the seed of paranoia in the latter
