It has been over a year and a half since Kazuki first invited Hayato to join the student council and he has become close friends with the other two members as well: Tsubasa and Tsukiko. It is thanks to the student council that Hayato's boring and uncolorful life has begun to shine and he has begun to be more open with others. The feelings of happiness he had long forgotten began to come back as he finally shows a genuine smile in gratitude to the student council members for wanting to celebrate his birthday, something his parents never did back at home.
