Unable to rejoice, Alain is convinced that his daughter and his wife are plotting behind his back. He seems to be slipping into paranoia. At the end of the session, Dayan welcomes Rebecca, his former love, into his home. The latter lifts the veil on a crucial dimension of the psychoanalyst's past.
