Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This adaptation deliberately ages Wallander ahead of Henning Mankell's timeline, making his tech-illiteracy a generational funeral rather than character quirk.
Lisa Siwe was the first woman to direct Wallander; she insisted on longer takes during his medical episodes to trap the audience in his disorientation.
